After joining Futabasha in 2010 and being involved in activities including advertising sales and event management, he transferred to the editorial department. In 2015, he moved to Gentosha, where he works as an editor while having his own columns in publications such as Toyo Keizai Online and AdverTimes and running online salon Minowa Editing Room. He is also a specially appointed professor at Takafumi Horie Innovation University. In October 2017, he established his own company, naminoue-shoten. In late January 2018, he assumed the post of director at EXODUS, a joint venture by CAMPFIRE and Gentosha.
In August 2018, he published his own book, Anything but Death Is Just a Scratch, which has sold over 130,000 copies. He also runs Minowa Editing Room, one of Japan's largest online salons.
